Outriders by SquareEnix and PCFPeopleCanFly – PS5

The Outrider Demo was plenty fun, and the best thing about it? All of the legendary weapons, gear, crafting resources, all of the stuff you found would be brought over to the main game!
Fast forward to the day of launch… I was so excited to start my journey on the planet Enoch, to be able to play a looter shooter game with friends, oh so exciting! However, there were server problems left and right, people struggled to log on, me included! Some were stuck on “Signing in” screen, people could not play with friends on different platforms and some players even lost their inventory and the list goes on.
Its been a shaky start and theres patches from the devs, trying to patch and fix all of the game breaking problems. Some players fear to log on for this exact reason and one can understand why. Not only this, but the game has turned towards the more toxic environment, people are being kicked right before getting loot from a difficult expedition and its not looking pretty.
The game is a looter shooter, you’re constantly getting new items, weapons or armor to get stronger every time. Its fun if you like these kind of games and I love these, especially when you get to explore the world with your friends!
The platinum trophy for this game is a work in progress. However with the current state the game is in, I’m afraid to log on, only to find out that I’ve lost all of my hard earned legendary weapon or armors.
So for me, the game is put on the lower priority until everything has been fixed.
Nothing more to add for now, this blog will be updated later when stuff have been fixed as I can see that the game have potential to be great.
Demons Souls – PS5

The day has finally come, I am about to play the Remaster edition of Demons Souls made by Bluepoint Games! The story starts to unfold, you start to make your character, choose the gender you want to play, be it male or female. I didnt think much of this selection of choice and started with making a female character. Little did I know, it had a finger in play when it comes to the variety of armor selections in game!
There are certain armor sets that could only be worn if your character is male / female however, its purely cosmetics anyways as armor in the game dont really make that much of a difference. “Fashion Souls”, is still a thing!
What it basically means is, you can wear whatever you think is coolest looking for yourself. The armor rating from each armor piece/set would of course help in the beginning of your journey, but later in the game when you invest points into your Soul levels. The armor wont make a difference then, you can still fast roll as long as you stay below 50% equipment weight!
For this game, I chose to start up as a sorcerer as I always end up going “Strenght build” in all other Souls games, but this time around I wanted to start differently.
So starting the game as a Royalty class sorcerer, I quickly notice that the spells are insanely powerful, more so than any Melee build! What great luck, from customizing your character to feeling immensely powerful the second you control your character!
There are a few things that I noticed over the course of gaming. You cant pick up or buy any additional armor sets IF you have lots of stuff on you in your inventory as it is weight limited now. You cant drag along you 50 different sets of armor or weapons, you have to stash whatever you dont use at Stockpile Thomas for safekeeping.
So you have to be sure what you want to bring with you and how much healing herbs / antidotes / bleed or plague curing items with you. Saying this, the game isnt that difficult anymore due to the fact that you can bring along a LOT of healing items with you whereas in the previous Souls games, your estus flask could only be used so many times before you inevitably run out of healing possibilities.
The game is beautiful, the PS5 makes everything run butterly smoooooooth too.. it just feels so good playing. However I noticed that there was no haptic feedback on the controller when playing this game. I wanted to feel the grip of the sword, when hitting an enemy, I wanted to feel the rumble in my fingers when I conjured up magic, I wanted to feel the parry and the riposte against an enemy player, alas there was no such thing.
The trophylist for Demons Souls can be found here, the trophies are considerably easier compared to the first Demons souls on PS3, theres no need to upgrade your weapons with different materials anymore, thus leaving out the grind for materials, which is great news! The trophies up towards the Platinum trophy is straight forward, there are missables so be warned! Most of the trophies would be to kill a boss using different methods but check out which boss you’re up against and check the trophy accordingly to make the run towards the platinum as easy as possible.
The platinum trophy can be achieved in 2 playthroughs. Always play in Souls form, meaning you’ll be playing with a handicap as you’ll only have 50% health all the time, but equip the ring called “Cling Ring” and you’ll get yourselves up to 75% health instead of being on 50% health! Playing in Souls form, also negates the possibility to get invaded and you can die as many times as you want without affecting the World tendencies! For the first run, I suggest you get to the end of New game with Pure White World Tendency. Killing each boss in each Archstone/World will ultimately send you towards Pure White World Tendency. Remember to pick up everything that you can pick up before swapping and going towards Pure Black World Tendency for the rest of the rings needed.
Just remember that everytime you defeat a boss, you’ll become human and have 100% health again, just go back to the Nexus, which is the Home base where you can interact with the different NPC you save, learn new spells / miracles or even level up. In the Nexus you can kill yourself by dropping from a great height and go back to playing as souls form without affecting any of the worlds world tendencies if you were to die.
The reason for this is if you’re dying in the different Archstones/Worlds in Body form, meaning you have 100% health, the more you die in body form the darker will the World tendency be. The enemies will become stronger and stronger and keep getting stronger the more you die in body form, thus resulting in a “Pure Black World Tendency”.
You wont affect the World Tendency if you play in Souls Form, you’ll need to first hit Pure White World Tendency, pick up every armor / weapon you want, but most importantly are the Rings as there is a trophy connected to collecting all the rings. Rings and Souls cannot be dropped by a friend. You must pick them up yourselves to pop the trophies!
Using the Savescum technic as you’ll be needing the different Boss Souls to get the spells and miracles you need for the Miracle / Sorcery trophies, will save you from another playthrough unless you want to do so. If you want to Savescum, then dont randomly devour the Boss Souls or spend it on anything until you get to New Game+ and defeat all of the bosses for all their boss souls!
To do the savescum technique all you have to do is press the PS button on your controller, you’ll then go from being in the game to sitting in the home menu, press options on the PS5 controller when highlighting the game you’re playing and select “Upload savefile to cloud services”. After the upload has been done, load the game back up as the game would have closed itself for the uploading to happen. Buy all the miracles with all of the boss souls you have, pop the trophy needed, close the game and download the uploaded savefile from earlier, then go back into the game and pop the trophy for all sorcery spells and get that trophy done as well!

My Playstation 5 has finally arrived!

The coveted Playstation 5 has finally arrived, it is finally here, in my arms. I cant believe it. I’ve spent so many hours taking pictures of it, trial and error with the lighting, the PS5 was moved up and down, the excitement took over. After a couple of hours, my girlfriend walks in and asks, “why are you still taking pictures of it? You should fire the badboy up and play something on it!”
And so I did! I plugged everything in and installed it where I wanted it to be… Such a beautiful and magnificent machine… My new shiny baby!
The first game to be installed on my new baby was DEMONS SOULS. I’ve long waited for this moment in time, to be able to play Demons Souls PS5 version, the cover of Demons Souls had been gathering dust ever since the game was launched, as I ordered the game as soon as it was availble, but was stored away due to the lack of PS5… But alas, no more waiting… my new shiny addition to the Playstation family has arrived!

A highly anticipated openworld sandbox game, similar to Grand Theft Auto, but lacking in many areas and game feels unfinished, give the game another year of developing and it’ll be amazing. Game has alot of potential, I am greatly awaiting information about the latest patches and cant wait to dive back in, once everything has been fixed and the bugs in game wont crash my console anymore.
The game had several different bugs, for example people clipping through the roofs of their cars making them standing IN the car with their head, chest and arms on the outside of the car roof. Sure hilarious to some, immersion breaking for others.
There was a lot of showcases where the environment showed people everywhere, npc’s walking about and doing their thing, it seemed like everyone was thriving, but alas the real game was nothing like that. it seemed to be a deserted place even in the midst of the city!
Cars clipped through the ground making you and the car T-pose, and if you went out of the car while the cars front was pointing downwards clipping through the ground, you’d fall out and kept falling to your inevitable death.
If you were to harm the citizens or steal their cars, you’d have cops spawn on you, yes ON you. Instead of like it is in GTA, where they eventually catch up to you. The npc’s dont seem to have any AI either, if you park your car or bike on the road, the npc’s will just form a que behind it, drive around? No, they didnt do that.
All bugs and imperfections cast to the side though, the game is pretty fun. This could need a year or two more to perfect everything in the game before releasing.
If I were to give it a score, then I’d say 5/10, I will get the platinum some day, but the game needs to be patched and fixed before I get back on it, I dont want any gamebreaking or trophy breaking bugs to happen.

Ghost of Tsushima Legends
I am absolutely blown out of my mind, because of how good this mode is. It is a multiplayer mode from the main game Ghost of Tsushima, which I already loved and got the platinum trophy in!
There’s now new trophies to get and a raid too!
The game mode itself is plenty fun, you start off by going through a short tutorial for each of the classes and you learn about counter attacks, dodging and defending enemy attacks, not to mention the different class ultimate attacks, basically teaching you how each classes differ from each other.
After the short tutorial, you’re given a choice of which classes to start with. I chose the Samurai as it resonated with me the best, I am not saying that I dont like the other classes, because I do! I love them in their own way, they are all different!
There are different levels of difficulty throughout the game mode, it goes from Bronze, Silver and Gold. Which basically means Easy, Medium and Hard. There is of course better gear at the harder difficulties, however, to be able to play on Silver or Gold difficulty, you’ll have to hit a certain Ki level to be able to start on those. For Silver you need to be at Ki level 25 minimum and for Gold Ki level 75. Getting to the different difficulties isnt that hard and doesnt take too long to get to, as the rewards are quite generous. You can also Reforge your gear to reach a higher level of Ki, but this costs different Resources in which you have 3 different ones.
I would not recommend Reforging at the lower levels of Ki gear, as you probably would get a new and better one right after the next story / survival mission.
Theres two different player modes within Legends as well, you have the Story mode where you can matchmake with another Ghost (players) and tackle the challenges thrown at you there. Then there is Survival mode, where you are matchmaking with a group of 4 Ghosts to tackle hordes of enemies. I can say right away that the survival mode is a bit more fun than going through the Story modes, however the reward seems to be the same for Story and Survival mode, so in regards of increasing Ki levels fast, I’d recommend sticking with Story mode for now, as the Story mode missions tend to last about 15 minutes or so, while for survival, it can go from 45 minutes to 1 hour depending on the teams performance.
Now that I’ve got to rank 20 with all of the classes (which is by the way also a trophy), it didnt even take that long to get everyone to rank 20, just grind Gold difficulty in Story mode and you’ll be flying up the ranks. I’ve managed to find the optimized gear for each of the classes so when the raid drops, I’ll be ready to tackle any raid challenges thrown my way.
Update from SuckerPunchProd creator of Ghost of Tsushima. “There will be no Matchmaking for the Raid, as it is quite brutal and communication is Key.”
After reading that, I knew I had to make myself a Discord server and gather up all the players such as myself, as I wanted everyone that plays Ghost of Tsushima Legends to be able to find someone to play and challenge the Raid with. Link to the Discord group is here by the way!
Raid finally dropped, I got my Discord group and found 3 other players that were all equally excited about the Raid. In we go.. Oh my gosh it is so much fun! I wont spoil anything here as this has to be experienced! However I do have a YouTube channel going, so if you want to see our struggle to find out how to solve certain puzzles or how to beat certain levels do look us up here.
After beating the Raid, I’ve now managed to master the last chapter in the Raid and have held the World Record in fastest completion of Chapter 3. Our best time for completion of Chapter 3 is 4 minutes and 12 seconds. However I do not have this title anymore as our record was destroyed the next day by 4 Japanese players.
After watching these players beat our time so easily, I’ve been wanting to gather up my old team to try and beat this time again, however as of time writing this, they’ve all been busy in Real Life, so I haven’t had the chance to try and beat their time… But I am still waiting and it’ll be sweet when our time comes again.
New time to beat is now 3:41 as of writing…

I’ve been putting this game away for so long hoping there’d be a patch to fix glitched trophies. About a week ago I read that the servers will be closing at the end of next month.

So I figured, if I dont do this now while I still have the game (It was a free PSN game some time ago), I wont get my platinum trophy for this game and that would annoy me very much… After reading about this trophylist, it seems very much doable given its difficulty rating of 4/10 however…
There’s two trophies that is glitched and really has put me off for playing this game in the hopes that this will have been fixed/patched before I dove into the game… 5 years has gone, but it doesnt seem to be fixed according to the playstation trophies forums.
There’s nothing but to hope that everything goes smoothly until the platinum trophy pops than not to have tried at all.

I really thought the game had glitched on me. Was proper mad at the end.. but with a bit of research at the end of the video. I found out theres one last scavenger location that has not appeared on the map.. This one was near Chums location to the West. Hoping everyone will find it too so they can get their Platinum trophy! 🙂

Mortal Shell
Out today 18.08.2020.
Mortal Shell is supposedly an indie game that has been heavily inspired from the Souls games, where you’ll meet dangerous foes and attack patterns to master to survive, however theres something unique that distinguishes Mortal Shell from other similar games…
You can possess the lost warriors “shells” as you defeat the different warriors you can inhabit their shells and then utilize their unique masteries of combat.
I will have to test this out myself to truly understand it.
Will I survive long enough to outlive the infamous “You Died” message from the Souls games or will I be slaughtered repeatedly?
I’ve been itching to play a new Souls like game, so lets dive in and see what this is. I will be streaming this until I have my new Mortal Shell platinum trophy!

Fall Guys is out now on PSN as a free game for all PS Plus subscribers!
This game is absolutely hilarious, you are 1 of 60 players online in a free for all struggle through multiple rounds of chaos until one victor remains!
You can even hold players back by grabbing onto them, will you disrupt their jumps across pitfalls making them plunge into the abyss or would you take them down with you for the sake of your friends?!
Or would you maybe sacrifice your friends for your victory?!?
Theres several bizarre obstacles and hinder courses to tackle through! Who will be the victor?!
I know I want to platinum this game, but it’ll have to come eventually as theres several trophies I think I’d struggle with, especially the win 5 times in a row!

Platinum trophy done!! If I were to rate the difficulty for this platinum trophy I’d say it is around 8/10 primarily because of Infallible trophy where you’ll have to win 5 times in a row.
If it wasnt for this trophy alone, the game would’ve been rated 2/10 as most of the trophies would’ve popped by the time you hit level 40.

There is however a “glitch” you can abuse if you find this trophy difficult or frustrating. If you know you are about to lose a game and you leave before the “Eliminated” message pop up on screen, you GET TO KEEP THE WINNING STREAK. Not sure how long this will be a thing before its patched so by all means, if you want the trophy, I’d say abuse it while you still can.
I went in to try to confirm if it worked or not, but to my surprise I managed to win 5 in a row!

I can say this game can be pretty nervewrecking at times!

This game is very welcome to the Playstation family for me.
This game was exclusive for Microsoft / Xbox, then for Nintendo Switch and now finally for Playstation 4!
The game is of the run and gun type, and is also branded as one of the most difficult games to get the platinum in! To this I say challenge accepted!
The game has been developed by StudioMDHR Entertainment, inspired by 1930’s cartoon, think of it as a cartoon from Walt Disney and Max Fleischer, now get this, the game is hand drawn and to top it all off, the music in the game hits spot on with its 51 smooth jazz songs!
There is a lake in the game, where you can reflect upon yourselves and see how many times you’ve died, at the end of the game, after the Platinum trophy popped, I went by and checked out of curiosity… I’ve died about 473 times!
This game also has coop possibilities, however it is not a multiplayer online game, but a couch coop. Given the games difficulty I’d say any framerate drop and you’ll most likely be killed, also when playing couch coop, the bosses get increased health, but you are able to revive each other if needed.
As far as I know, the game has been rated more diffcult than the Dark Souls series! Is that really true?

Ghost of Tsushima
OH MY GOODNESS! This game is amazing!!
Let me just start with WOW!
I’ve spent way way too much time with the games photo mode and I have to say I loved every bit of it!
The scenery, the battles, the atmosphere and the music? Everything is spot on! The only thing that is missing is the smell… If I only could, I’d spend my time smelling all of the flowers, the mountain air, soaking in the hot springs enjoying the view, the atmosphere and maybe some sake!
The game teaches you about haiku, honor, family and justice.
When the merciless mongol forces invade, not only do they attack the japanese people, they spit on the japanese cultural heritage!
The game opens up and you are free to choose to do whatever you want being an open world game and what a world this is. I mentioned spending time in photomode, once you start the game and the world opens up.. you’ll know why I did just that.
Exploration rewards you with different things that benefits you in several ways, be it hot springs that increased your health, new weapon skins or upgrade materials for your armor.
Not only that, but you will most likely encounter fox dens, golden birds that shows the way to every points of interests, I highly recommend following these birds when one is given the chance to.
All of the experience you gain can be put into learning new moves when fighting against the mongols, not only that, you can hide and observe mongol leaders at their camps to learn new fighting stances. Heres a tip I would recommend everyone to do. Observe the mongol leaders before you attack and kill them. This way you’ll earn 2 points instead of 1 point from just killing them.
If I were to give myself and other players another tip is to finish the main story first, one can play however they see fit.
The game is completion based with nothing missable as you can do everything after main story.
Starting the side tales (side missions) lets you in on all of your companions story, its both wonderful and sad at the same time depending on which story you are going for as they each have their own story.
The chase for platinum trophy isnt that hard either, once you liberate the entire island from the mongol forces, the map opens up. You can then see what you’ve missed or haven’t gotten to yet. Take your time, enjoy the side missions, enjoy making haiku, enjoy the hotsprings.
The platinum trophy will be yours before you know it.
This game is wonderful and has left a special place in my heart. SuckerPunchProd has done it again.
Absolutely recommend this game to everyone.

The Last Of Us Part 2
I had heard so many different things that were said about this game. I tried so hard to avoid all forms of spoilers. The spoilers was everywhere, in all the media platforms I usually hang out on when things get dull, there it is spoilers upon spoilers and many many angry gamers and many happy gamers. I chose not to read any of this except for snipets. None of what I’ve “read” whilst scrolling past made any sense and I am happy for that.
So launch day, I fire up the game, it started all nice and somewhat familiar. Oh hey, Joel! Oh Tommy too! My they’ve gotten old. What mystery or plague will happen to these badboys? Oh Ellie too! (Kinda expected that!) Great, I’ve now begun my journey and I’m absolutely in love with it so far!
Oh wait I remember this place! Ohhh what a good feeling this is..
Who is this…? Abby?? Owen?? Hmm.. ok, lets see what happens.. I press on..
Fast forward… to the inevitable…
I was shocked.. I couldn’t believe what has happened… I was sad, angry, I was at a point of not wanting to play anymore because of what had happened, tearful, devestated. But I pressed on, I wanted revenge, oh sweet sweet revenge!
The story unfolds, I get the story from both sides with a few flashbacks which explains why the story is what it is.
I learn more and more about our protagonist.
I feel my anger disappearing, changing into understanding.
I press on with the story. Big fight, between our protagonists. Who was I rooting for? Well.. I have a video of it all..
I continue my journey, picking up every pieces of collectibles possible. At one point of the game I could’ve sworn I was playing some sort of a pinging game. Every item or enemy pinged back. I knew exactly where every item or enemy was. I felt sort of relieved although I did have a few moments where I got mighty scared, but I punched or shot my way back, be it zombies or humans. No one was to be in my way.
I have now finished the story, but not got the platinum trophy just yet.
I need another playthrough to collect enough supplements or parts to upgrade my weapons to max and player upgrades to max.
Halfway into new game plus, after picking up and upgrading my last “player upgrade”…

Platinum trophy earned!
Had I not pressed on because I wanted the Platinum trophy so bad and to see what happened next in the game, I would’ve missed out on what a great game this have been.. The emotional rollercoaster of a game.. I actually liked the game in the end.
Not saying what happened was ok… but, I liked it…
Kudos to Naughty_Dog for this bold and amazing game.

Final Fantasy 7 Remake
I was so excited to start my journey back to the world of Final Fantasy 7. What was to be expected and what did I expect when playing through it?
I have so many fond memories of the original game, I practically grew up with it. I was 9 when I started my journey and what a world of wonder it turned out to be. The music, the atmosphere, the inevitable events. My little 9 year old heart, it skipped a beat when it happened… I couldn’t believe it, everything Cloud said, it resonated. I Cried, wishing there was a way to stop the inevitable from happening.
The rollercoaster of emotions, the open world, the battle, everything leading up to our main boss…
How could the Remake of this legendary game live up to this? I’d say they made it pretty much spot on, of course theres some changes to the original story, but the magic is still there!
After getting the Platinum trophy for Final Fantasy 7 Remake I am eagerly waiting to explore more of Gaia!
I give the game 9/10!
